London Bridge Experience

Vanilla yogurt for breakfast with bananas, pumpkin seeds, raisins, goji berries, dark chocolate chips, and muesli. I love the dark chocolate chips with the bananas. YUUM!

Lunch was @ Brindisa yesterday. These olives were so plump, juicy, and stuffed with a clementine in the middle.

Charcuterie platter with ham, chorizo, salami.
The charcuterie platter was perfect with the bread and very olive-y oil. I can't wait for Barcelona man!!
Patatas bravas with aioli. The potatoes were slightly crispy on the outside and hot and deliciously seasoned with the sauce for dipping.
Shrimp with garlic, chili, and EVOO. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and infused with the garlic sauce. My favorite dish by far.
Leek soup with truffle oil with cheese and an anise flavored cracker. I snuck in a sip before the sick one took over the soup bowl. You could put truffle oil on paper and it would still taste delicious to me! ;o)
Seabass with risotto. The presentation on the dish was pretty but overall the flavors were bland.

After lunch, we went to redeem my Groupon at the London Bridge and Tombs experience. Okay... I'm not going to lie, the whole thing was pretty worthless. My family and I skipped out on the tour after the cheesy bridge experience because we didn't want to sit through the "scariest UK attraction" aka the Tombs where people dressed in scary costumes jump out at you. No gracias! I like scary movies but HATE HATE HATE haunted houses. Is that a conundrum or what?!
The London Bridge Experience lasted about 30 minutes and cost £21 pounds. It was nothing more than people dressed in costumes giving us the history behind the bridge. Rubbish!! As they would say here in the UK. More important than the money, how do I get 30 minutes back of wasted time? :-D

Dinner last night was a repeat visit to Bodeans @ the Fulham branch.

New reading material: This break has been good for my reading habit. I'm starting to get back into reading. YAY! I love books that suck you right in and don't let go until the last page. Now if I can only get back to my language studies..
