A full house

The house is beginning to feel alive again. Annnnnd so it begins.
Who da bear sleeping on the bed? My daddy has arrived in town!! He was sleeping within the first 10 minutes he arrived. My dad is an accomplished PH.D holding dean at a University in Korea. I'm super proud to call him my dad. I know he's a very busy man so I don't mind that he comes to visit only to sleep :-D

Breakfast this morning:
My morning consisted of oats and coffee w. some zumba lovin on the side. I practiced the new Zin 30 cd, #3 is one of my favorite salsa tracks "La Vida Es un Carnaval". I'm really digging the choreography on the new cd.

After picking up my dad, I was starving so I made myself a quick smoothie to tide me over til dinner.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup strawberry low fat yogurt
  • 1/3 cup of frozen blackberries and blueberries each
  • a heaping handful of spinach
  • agave nectar
  • ice and a splash of water
Toppings
  • muesli
  • almonds
  • cacao nibs
  • goji berries
  • raisins
  • unsweetened coconut flakes
Boys will be boys. It's really freezing in our flat. Unfortunately, we have really huge windows and high ceilings so the heat doesn't circulate so well.
A bit of wine and nuts to snack before our food arrives.
We ordered Chinese from our local greasy spoon. Lemon chicken and noodles with schrimp
Chicken wings, noodles with veggies, pork, beef, shrimop, and beef with vegetables in a brown sauce. Typical greasy yet tasty chinese takeout.
1/4 duck. Duck wrap with a bit of hoisin sauce, spring onions, and cucumber slices. Yuuum! My favorite part of the meal.
My gigantor plate.

Still waiting for my momma and bro to arrive and then it will really be a full house.
