Chocolate heaven

One on the left has walnuts, dark chocolate peanut butter dreams spread on it with unsweetened coconut flakes
The one on the right has dark chocolate chips with pecans in it.

Star ingredients
Needless to say, I'm drifting on a cloud of chocolate pillows. Mmm....

Before this breakfast, I ran to the gym and did some weights. I had to run to the gym because my parents left me stranded in Rockford without a car ALL day. Booooorrring.

Yup! Still loving on my toy
So many cool functions on this guy. One of them is that I can upload my data onto my computer to see my average pace, time,  heart rate, and calories per lap. I was obviously soooo slow today since my body felt like a huge weight after my strength training session.

What does one do when stuck inside the house all day? Looks like I'm going to have to be clever. More importantly, what do I make for lunch? :P

Throwback song of the day: Next "Wifey"

Someone hail me a cab.

Eeek!! The shrimpies have the eyes on them still. I had to take the head off asap!
Soup with beef, shrimp, fish cakes, and veggies. It was a very tasty compilation of ingredients. I obviously didn't make this. I was too busy drinking wine and learning some french.
Oops! I forgot to include the sauce that you mix in with the soup to make it a bit saltier/tastier.
Snug as a bug in a rug
I'm pooped.

New reading material!!

My legs feel like jelly after my run today so I'll be on the couch reading this bad boy.

Lunch: unpictured Chirashi bowl, and my mom, dad and I shared a Dragon roll (unagi and eel), and the spicy Spider roll (fried soft shell crab, spicy mayo).

After lunch, we went to Sam's club. I was very impressed with myself that I stayed away from their free samples. Come on, who goes to Sam's club without roaming the store for freebies!

I came away with this: Excited to try some new energy bars. I hear these taste more like real food. Most bar's I've tried taste kind of chalky but I've gotten used to it. We'll see how these stack up.

My daddy bought these :
and you wonder which parent I got my genes from. DUH! She don't get it from her momma!

FF yogurt w. sliced strawberries and caramel drizzle
Song of the day: I missed the new episode of Glee last night but I saw a clip of Lea Michele's performance of "What I did for love". Her voice always gives me the warm fuzzies!!

Forerunner glory

I in luuuuurrrrrve with my new toy!! Best purchase recently hands down! Check me out dude...
Didn't I say to myself yesterday that I could do better. :)

Post run breakfast: I was starvin!!
the almighty incredible edible egg. I can never cook eggs right. Isn't that something that should come naturally?

Cut and twist!
FF yogurt, canned pumpkin, dark chocolate chips, walnuts, and a dash of cinnamon. What a combo!
Yep. this was gone in like 5 minutes. I need to learn to eat slower. I don't think I even remember what it tasted like!

Time to relax. I'm debating whether or not to go do some weights later today. Maybe I should stick with Tues, Thurs, Sat weight lifting and Mon, Wed, Fri runs.. Sunday rest day. hmmm.. decisions decisions!

Golly it is HOTT outside today!

I ran outside.. it was hard. My legs felt like bricks and I was constantly out of breath. I felt like I was running through the desert heat. When it gets too hard don't give up. Also don't beat yourself up if you have to stop and walk for a while. I brushed it off today and said I will run better on another day! At least I had a good trail to run through.
I look like a hot pink mess
My dad took this rascal for a walk on the same trail. I had to carry her briefly on my way back as she wasn't in the mood to walk. What a princess. No, in all actuality, I think she was physically exhausted in the heat. It feels like its 80 plus degrees out! I'm sorry but did I just blink and it turn into summer again?! YIPPEE!!!

Refuel:
1/2 Salad with tomatoes, pinenuts, and balsamic vinegar dressing
Turkey on 7 grain bread, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, havarti dill cheese, and fat free chipotle mayo. I initially ordered this on multigrain bread but the checkout lady informed me that people often mistake their multigrain for the healthy stuff when its actually their 7 grain bread that is their healthiest. What a nice woman! I love it when people know their schtuff!!!
More bread and honey please!!! Thank you bee's for making this lip smackingly good honey.

I got my Garmin forerunner in the mail today!!!! Unfotunately, I can't use it yet because it has to charge for 3 hours. Torturous.

Just say "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhm" and be patient Hanna.....(Not my strongest trait).

Song of the day: Trey Songz feat Nicki Minaj "Bottoms up".

I lied.

crushed mini oreos, dark chocolate chips, reeses pieces, and caramel sauce. Hey- at least the ice cream is less fat and 120 calories per 1/2 cup.
I can't live without dessert! mu hahahaha.. at least I didn't add in the caloric nuts this time! Disclaimer: Objects may appear bigger than actual size. :P

Dinner:
Eat yo veggies!! The sauce was amazing. It was sweet from the rice wine vinegar apparently.
Teach a mom to fish. Or at least buy some. These lil guys didn't taste that good
Pork. It tastes a lot better than it looks. Money back guarantee
You wrap this salted seaweed paper like thing with rice. Don't knock it til you try it!
Thanksgiving preview.. I can't wait! I love green bean casserole. This was the casserole minus the crunchy onions on top (Hello!! the best part) and the actual casserole dish.

Lookin good my friends!
Breakfast this morning was simple and clean:
Kashi Go Lean cereal with half soy milk, half skim milk and some walnuts tossed in there.

Come to momma!!!
Happy news of the day: I think my Garmin 305 comes in the mail today. I've been stalking my package like its my job. The sun is shining this morning. Perfect day for a run.

Take the time today to: Smile at a stranger, catch up with a friend, giggle just a little, inhale deeply, and give yourself a compliment!!

Yes! I can, you can, we all can do it.

I saw this on another foodie's blog and I just needed to re-post. When something seems too good to keep to yourself, that means you should probably share it. What an inspirational video. Bring on the kleenex you softie.
