Sunday roast

Pims:  a light and refreshing summer drink
We went to a friend's house yesterday for a traditional British Roast-my first since being in London. Their flat smelled fantastic when we walked in. I came HANGRY after the gym and doing some Zumba.

Nice choice of vase :-)

Humongo balls! W.T.F?
Dinosaur eggs.. I mean scotch eggs. This is the most amazing British **food** invention ever! They usually serve these things at pubs and they are the perfect snack. I'm already sold and I've only had them since this past Friday. he he..  It's a hard boiled egg, wrapped in sausage, dipped in breadcrumbs and fried. These were super tasty. I had 1 1/2 !!

The rest of the spread:
mushrooms
sweet potato mash
mushy peas w. chorizo. The peas were FANTASTIC- I loved the chewy chorizo pieces that made the peas salty and delicious!
blue cheese mashed potatoes. Mmm.. this reminded me of Thanksgiving but so much tastier w. the blue cheese addition!
rosemary potatoes- I love eating the crispy pieces.
roast beef
roast duck
my sampler plate- I had seconds of the peas and scotch eggs. How could I not?! The food was really delicious.
Sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Yumm-O!!!

Surprisingly, T and I still had room for dinner later that night. We had Glee and Ginnan on the agenda.

Today's agenda: Gym, and I'm getting my hair did. Whoop Whoop! :-)
