I needed a good run this morning to beat out any last minute nerves. My training program starts tomorrow and I admit I'm a bit nervous to be going back to "school". An 8 miler should help my restless mind.
Pre run fuel:
Ate half a banana w. peanut butter before I realized I had forgotten about something..I bought Almond Butter yesterday at Planet Organics. Yippe!!
Love love LOVE organic stores. I could spend A LOT of time and money.
Almond butter is a great change of pace to your standard peanut butter routine. Not sure which I prefer but I was feelin the almond butter today.
Ran about 3 miles down this pathway before I moved onto Regent's Park.
Not before running into some swans. I'm mildly obsessed. A homeless man started shouting at me "why are you taking pictures of those geese!?!" Needless to say, I put on my headphones and kept running.
Today's agenda:
Get key's made for our dog walker. YES! We found a dog walker for tomorrow. Halleluj-ER!!
Grab a quick snack at a French patisserie
Buy some pannettone for family at an Italian deli
Lunch today was at Tarek's sisters place.
Lentil soup. Very warming and comforting on a per usual rainy, windy day.Chicken and peppers in a cream sauce over white rice.
Kinda is a vegetarian so they made a vegetarian style chili con carne. We ate this burrito style with the works: lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. I heart mexican food. The best part- you couldn't even tell it wasn't real meat!

Dessert made by Kinda. Perfect layers of fluffy whipped topping, toffee, bananas, and graham cracker like crust. I polished off a HUGE piece.
