not even a mouse. Merry Christmas everyone!! Shh...people are still sleeping but I decided to blog and go for an early Christmas morning run.
I swear this sign said Merry Christmas!!
Repeat visit to Koba
They put hot water on these towels and they puffed up like a cute magic trick. Lol. I'm amused by the silliest things.
Peace and love.
with shots of soju!!
Kimchi platter and japchae- a clear noodle dish with veggies and beef
Korean version of a pancake with lots of chunks of seafood.
Bring on the meats!!
Oooo yea.. Nothing like meats grilling on the table right in front of you.
Bulgogi- marinated beef
Hot stone rice bowl
The meats are delicious but the portions are way too small!!
My lettuce wrap. Get in MY BELLY!!
Meats and little octopuses.
Soondubuchigae. Hot and spicy like ME!! :o)
Christmas cookies and beer back at the house.
A mother and daughter toast.
My brother was dying for us to open up a gift on Christmas Eve.
Someone wanted to wait but I insisted we go for it. We can make opening up a gift on Christmas Eve a tradition.
XBOX360 Kinect. Yippee!! Thanks!!
Uhm... so what is it??
I soon found out...
It's an interactive game you play with your whole body (instead of your hands like the WII). You can block things with your body, kick with your legs, outstretch your arms and duck for cover.
Hilarity ensues..Whatcha lookin at foo!
We were jumping up and down like a bunch of monkeys but it was SO much fun. The Kinnect console even takes picture for you while you're playing and puts up funny captions that you can share with people. What a fun way to spend Christmas Eve.
Time for that run.
Calvin: Well. I've decided I do believe in Santa Claus, no matter how preposterous he sounds.
Hobbes: What convinced you?
Calvin: A simple risk analysis. I want presents. Lots of presents. Why risk not getting them over a matter of belief? Heck, I'll believe anything they want.
Hobbes: How cynically enterprising of you.
Calvin: It's the spirit of Christmas.

Merry Christmas Eve!!
The funny thing about parents is that no matter how old you get, they will still be cleaning up after you.
Someone's been busy organizing the house. And cleaning up everywhere.
Not that our place was disorganized or messy to begin with (in my humble opinion). But it doesn't hurt to have some additional help.
I squeezed in a total body workout this morning: I did 3 sets of 8-10 reps. It had been a while since I've done a total body workout. Usually, I stick with two muscle groups per workout but there's something to be said about doing a total body approach. Since I don't like resting much between my exercises so today's workout was perfect.

Lunch before the shopping extravaganza: Nando's
http://www.nandos.co.uk/
A whole chicken platter. Apparently not everyone in my family can handle the heat like I can so we ordered half the chicken hot and the other medium. PSH! Softies..
Spicy chicken wings. Very crispy and perfectly salty on the outside. They were more delicious today than I previously remember. Not sure why.. maybe I was just hungry.
Mediterranean salad
Hey look over here!
Award winning smiles. Gracias mi bonita familia.
You wonder where my eating habits come from. Wonder no more. The Jueng family can eat!
This afternoon was spent last minute Christmas shopping. We stopped at Starbucks for a bit of rest and relaxation.
I wanted to take a picture of our drinks but someone tried to reorganize the cups even when I said not too.
I'm not going to name any names... MOM!!
A quick run to Whole Foods to pick up a pre-order of shoulder of lamb and a whole duck. Let's hope its not Donald.
Thanks for spelling my name wrong. What part of H.A.N.N.A. don't you understand?
I guess I can forgive you for your obnoxiously long lines and misleading signs to the appropriate "trolley" cash register because it's Christmas Eve. Starting to feel the warm fuzzies!!!
Merry Christmas ya'll!! Sending warm kisses, hugs, and love to everyone.

My new ride.
I WISH MAN!! It feels so good when that steering wheel touches your hands. :-D I miss driving sometimes but not in this crazy London traffic!! We rented a car to pick up my mom and bro who came in at 11:40 p.m. last night.
Being at the airport tonight reminded me of a Christmas video I saw of people greeting their loved ones from the airport. So touching!!
This greeting wasn't as touching. One of the first few things I said to my brother was "you should wash your hair." :o) :o)
Breakfast: Banana w. chunky peanut butter w. half a cliff bar.
My bro knows me so well. Thansk for the American celebrity gossip magazines. Weeee!!!
Time for the gym!!! The gym will be closed for the next two days. :( :(

A full house
The house is beginning to feel alive again. Annnnnd so it begins.
Who da bear sleeping on the bed? My daddy has arrived in town!! He was sleeping within the first 10 minutes he arrived. My dad is an accomplished PH.D holding dean at a University in Korea. I'm super proud to call him my dad. I know he's a very busy man so I don't mind that he comes to visit only to sleep :-D
Breakfast this morning:
My morning consisted of oats and coffee w. some zumba lovin on the side. I practiced the new Zin 30 cd, #3 is one of my favorite salsa tracks "La Vida Es un Carnaval". I'm really digging the choreography on the new cd.
After picking up my dad, I was starving so I made myself a quick smoothie to tide me over til dinner.
A bit of wine and nuts to snack before our food arrives.
We ordered Chinese from our local greasy spoon. Lemon chicken and noodles with schrimp
Chicken wings, noodles with veggies, pork, beef, shrimop, and beef with vegetables in a brown sauce. Typical greasy yet tasty chinese takeout.
1/4 duck. Duck wrap with a bit of hoisin sauce, spring onions, and cucumber slices. Yuuum! My favorite part of the meal.
My gigantor plate.
Still waiting for my momma and bro to arrive and then it will really be a full house.
